So much to unpack here, again. Great stories.

I could comment on how lame it is for people to believe that Damar Hamlin is really a body double (and I suppose I did), but of ALL the bizarre stories this week, this next one stands out.

Holocaust denialism in The Netherlands.

It’s one thing for people here in the U.S. to deny the holocaust (and I cannot fathom how anyone could, period). But people in the Netherlands? Really? They were freaking occupied by the Nazis! And they had around 70% of their Jewish population killed during the war!

FFS, people!!!

Without knowing any details my first thought is that somehow the education system there has totally failed in this regard. There’s just too much documentation of everything that happened there for people to not be 100% convinced about the actual devastation that occurred.

Too sad.

I know. It is astounding. It reminds me of antivaxxers who have no context regarding what bad times were really like. They refuse to accept a historical reality and what we must do to prevent that catastrophe from happening again.

Vibranium? They should have called it unobtanium. 😁

Just realized my comment about Damar Hamlin could have read as if I also believed he was a body double. I meant, by saying “and I suppose I did”, that I suppose I just commented on how lame it is to actually believe such BS.

Must read and re-read my own comments for clarity from now on.
