Not sure this is necessarily a robotics problem. Any automatic machinery is dangerous. Many years ago I worked for a printer in the University holidays. There was a paper drill – very sharp, very high speed hollow tube. You pushed the button and it came down and drilled. The operator went round the back to try and adjust something forgot to turn it off, knocked the button and it came down and drilled his hand. I had to take him to the hospital. We were second behind some guy who had a circular saw blade embedded in his hand.
The "shrimp" collected in New Guinea isn't really a shrimp but an amphipod.
