I’m very happy receiving the emails from Substack that let me know you’ve posted. The app alerts me as well. I deleted my Twitter account months ago so I get nothing from that. Facebook was long ago abandoned by me. Mastodon and Reddit are the only platforms I still use. Mastodon is still a big learning curve for me. But I’m simply a consumer of things there, not a creator, so it’s fine.

If I’m reminded about your Spooky Geology blog I go to it, otherwise I tend to forget. And I always find it worth going to when I do visit, so I need to make a better effort to get there.

Your content is solid, and worth reading. I’m grateful that you take the time and effort to do it all, so thank you!

E-mail or FB is fine. I am not going to go to Substack. It made me get an account to post this comment. Lol.

Ditto to email. I wanted to get more involved with Mastodon after dumping FB and Twitter, but have fallen off the learning curve.

I think I just signed up to your newsletter. I use the app. I’m subscribed to so many and it’s all in one place.

I really enjoy Substack for a variety of content creators, and never miss an email notification for the newsletter. So, that's where my vote goes.

Been reading via email for a while and also following on Mastodon. I was following on Twitter, and haven't deleted my account, but I don't use it any more

I can't change it now, but clicked on SS RSS instead of email, but I'm happy with the email- I was thinking of Idoubtit and Strange Geology which I do follow on RSS. I'm mostly on FB, occasionally interact on Twitter and have a Mastodon account.

I follow you on Twitter but never see your posts unless I go to your account - email is best for me

I meant to reply earlier, and it got away from me. I like the email format.

I'm new to sub stack but I love how there doesn't seem to be short form random thoughts. I like that the platform encourages you to take your time and write. It's a huge step up from the insanity that is social media. No to mention the insane levels of reporting and censorship if you have a big following.

I literally came here to be anonymous so that I can share my thoughts without fear of backlash from a large following. The world has gone mad! Thanks for making quality content!
