I used to examine weird news on my website Doubtful News, then on here as Weekly Weird News. Additionally, I developed content related to Spooky Geology - the intersection of ideas about earth sciences and the paranormal or strange. As of January 2025, I’m pivoting to a new project.

Pop Goes the Cryptid is my chronicle of observing the changing appearance of and attitudes towards “cryptids” in popular culture - from the scientific intent of cryptozoology to the explosion of creature culture. The Pop Cryptid Spectator is a collection of observations I produce about every 7-10 days on my website. It is also cross posted here at Substack.
